The Epic is the working title for Grand Prairie’s life-changing project which will truly be a one-of-a-kind project in America. Some of the items on the projected wish list are:
Life-Changing Center---- With components being: Health, Wellness, Library, Art, Music, Enrichment, Spa, and more…. 120,000sf working number
Indoor Water Park--- First retractable roof water-park in DFW. Actually will allow for year long operation. 60,000sf working number
Central Park Amphitheater—Grand place for concerts, events, and shows.
Inclusive Playground---The most amazing Inclusive Playground in America. Looking for folks who have history with a variety of mental and physical challenges to serve on this special committee.
Trail Connections and Park Ammenities---Will be included to continue the Central Park legacy.
Approximate Cost: $75 million
Architect: We are recommending HKS, Inc. of Dallas to the City Council for approval on Tuesday, October 14.
Epic Encounters: We are travelling through-out the community to garner all thoughts, dreams and concepts! We truly want everyone to have their “thumbprint” on this life-changing project.
